they call me 'joe'

I believe in challenging the status quo, thinking differently and provoking innovation. The way I do this is by committing to benevolent, compelling causes, and driving transformative results for an abundant future.

I happen to be an experienced entrepreneur, dual citizen (Italy & Canada), executive and investor, with a demonstrated history of outperformance in business, tech and finance. Being a strong executive, my skills include: critical strategic thinking, innovation, collaboration, complex problem solving and creativity.

After starting in the coffee business following university, I turned my attention to research for my upcoming book, Il Filo D'Oro, tracing the golden thread of culture and influence woven by the descendants of Rome and the Italian peninsula, through history.

At Ceridian, I have helped grow Dayforce from a tech start-up, through a merger with Ceridian, into a leading global cloud platform and large-cap S&P 500 innovator. These efforts have ranged from leading go-to-market strategies and business intelligence teams; to working closely with Fortune 100 organizations and prestige clients, on ROI modelling and transformative business case analyses. This included work on Ceridian's 2018 public offering, which raised over $800M, which was the largest Canadian tech IPO, in history. I currently lead business and sales engagement, conducting negotiations on behalf of Ceridian’s major markets, in the Americas and EMEA.

I have always felt a connection to the ideals of the Renaissance; inclined towards a well-rounded approach in all matters, taking a holistic perspective to challenges. Being a lifelong student of cultural relativism and geopolitics, I consider myself part indie-anthropologist, who plucks the flowers from the weeds, in all areas of study and experience.

I am always happy to connect.
